Leaving for Mexico

Tomorrow (9/29/2011) we leave for Mexico. We will be traveling to Ajijic, Jalisco, which is 1 hour South of Guadalajara. Packing, making sure we have everything we’ll need before leaving today for Bentonville. We’re trying something new this time — staying over at a hotel near the airport and leaving our car there for 2 weeks while we’re gone.

We’re excited, but tired. Just had a wonderful visit from my sister and her husband — Judi & Scott Johnson. Ruby was loving seeing them, as were we. Showed them as much as possible within one day. Had a lot of fun.

In Ajijic, we rented a 2 bedroom house right in the village of Ajijic, with a really nice patio. Can’t wait to relax, view the lake and do some more reading.  More to come……..
